Welcome Home!

The fellowship we share with one another here is one of the reasons Ebenezer is such a special place. Together we make up God's family, the body of Christ, the church! A common purpose unites us as we live, work and worship. God has brought us together for such times as these to serve Him and reach out and minister in love to others.

At a time in our fellowship's history when attendance was dwindling and mostly older members remained, Delmer Odell felt called by God to go door-to-door into nearby communities and to invite families to come to church with him.

Many responded and many children in these communities became very fond of our church family.  God called Delmer's son Joel and his wife Kelly to give their lives in service to the fellowship here in a church whose ministry has become devoted to loving and serving these children, their families and our surrounding community.

At Delmer's funeral, Carl Medley spoke of the seeds of love God had sewn through Delmer and Delores's lives and through the ministry at Ebenezer they began.  These seeds of love from our Lord Jesus are still being sewn today in and through us all.  We are excited to be in God's hand through our journey together here of grief, hope and joy in the promises of Christ.

We invite you to come and see what God is doing.  Serve, love and be loved by our heavenly Father at Ebenezer Church through the Spirit of Christ.
